HOW TO INSTALL

1) download and install the latest recovery for the device:

2) backup your current rom

3) i suggest you backup your own apn settings to restore at first boot--this is your responsibility not mine--this will prevent any mobile data issues and help with even faster gps acquisition

4) to install, i suggest not only doing factory reset in recovery, but also formatting system, cache, and data using the new format menu in my latest recovery release; then with the package on your sdcard, install it from the zip installation menu

5) install will be fairly fast because the new recovery is lightning fast, reboot

6) if after several the minutes the phone has not booted, reboot it by holding power + volume up

7) if touchscreen does not respond, reboot the phone, once rebooted lower the max cpu frequency in settings--above 800 causes touchscreen / gpu interference (just a warning, mostly works fine but occasionally a problem may arise; mileage will vary)

What interests me is whether kernrl from 2.3.7 rom at 1ghz be separately text of scientific. I'm very interested to install it on my roamer with SF euro.

This didn't help with the load memory issue. The AreaRom did but it runs so fricken slow that I back on the trail of new ROM.

Nice job stayboogy! I updated the settings app to look like CM9 and added switches for my own personal use. I figured I would share if anyone is interested, hope you don't mind. ***NOTE*** This is not a flashable zip, you will have to use adb or root file explorer to overwrite original apps. Don't forget to change permissions to 0644!
