merit.stock.rooted

extract it,

put it like so on your sdcard: /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/merit.stock.rooted/the seven files in the archive

restore it from recovery.

I have tried the Recovery its on my phone also but it says
Checking MD5 Sums
MD5 Mismatch

I am running System Recovery TouchNav V1.3

Edit:Also if someone could tell me how to get to fastboot with this phone if I can get to fastboot mode I may be able to fix the issue.

Well I just tried but think I formatted my sd card now it says error mounting/sdcard
Edit: Just check I did and then formatted everything xD probably a bad idea
Edit-2: Ok I can't mount sd card and when I plug into my computer it says I need to format the drive

Now I have partitioned my Zte Merit nothing on the sd card except clockworkmod folder with backups and the merit.stock.root
but when I try running Recovery Backup it says no files found

Edit: Ok so now I got it to find merit.stock.rooted but it still has a MD5 Mismatch Error

delete all the text in the md5 file and save it. don't delete it. it'll restore it without verifying.

if im not mistaken you have to partition your sd card to get it to work...

please, don't post stuff like this if you don't know what you're talking about...

because of this the guy formatted his sdcard for no reason at all.

partitioning an sdcard has nothing to do with recovery...

OK well I tried deleting the text but still same issue not sure what to do.

Edit: Ok got it to start recovery just forgot to save MD5 hey stayboogy do you have a skype or something we can talk over so you can help me with this process

I have got my phone to boot to the Setup Screen thanks Stayboogy.

Edit: Its great that I know how to do this now so if I get a bad rom or fail to flash something right.

so sorry. i didnt mean to ruffle any feathers... i didnt tell him to or make him format his sd card. notice i said 'if im not mistaken' so apparently im mistaken.. he did that on his own accord without waiting on an definitive answer...not my fault
