Hey guys trying out the Incredible on Verizons network for the next few weeks to see how I like it compared to the iPhone and could use some help with an issue. I saw that this is an issue in the Droid Eris phones just wondering if you guys have some input.

When I sent a text sometimes I get the message "Message Delivered to XXXXXXXXXX as plain text Destination does not support enhanced messaging service" Does anyone know WTH that means or why it is doing that? Any way to get rid of that?

    Thanx in advance.

Means they're on a different network, or they're using a device that is not a phone but can receive texts. Are you trying to send a MMS? Or using symbols?

Android 2.1 doesn't support EMS (Enhanced Messaging Service). Samsung that to me officially.
