Help MESSAGE MEMORY FULL - SAMSUNG GALAXY POCKET GT-S5300

My Samsung Galaxy Pocket GT-S5300 is quite old, and has worked perfectly but now it won't receive messages. It comes up with "Message memory full: Unable to recieve message. Device memory full". I have then proceeded to delete any apps that aren't needed, delete messages, delete photos, delete unused files, clear data from apps, pretty much everything anyone online has suggested. It says I have 101mb internal storage free, so I don't understand why it comes up with an error. And I've turned it off and on again in case you were wondering. Please help! I can't think of anything else I can do!
