I've been using a Nokia Lumia 800 (WP7) for the last few weeks and whilst I love the hardware, the SW is sadly lacking for me.. It's missing some key items such as Skype (I use in China).. etc. One of the functions I've loved having and I'm trying to duplicate on my S2 is the ability for my inbuilt Bluetooth system to read incoming messages and offering the ability to reply to them.. (i have a BMW 5 series 2 years old).
I've tried switching on the voice to text option in S2 but nothing happens when a message arrives. Are the BT software / hardware on the two phones radically different and I'm flogging a dead horse as my BMW system will not work with the S2 or is there anything else I can do to get this operational? any apps etc?
