Halo from Paranoid Android is now open sourced!!!! https://plus.google.com/app/basic/stream/z13fj5hiwvyzc51fn22gjdub1zm1up4ng Now, can any of you guys incorporate it into a ROM for our Motion?! I don't understand all the lines of code they are using and such. But they make it seem fairly simple? Halo is one of the MAIN reasons I want to use PA so bad. I would just like to know if it would be possible? THANKS!

Halo is for Jellybean 4.2.2 (correct me if im wrong but maybe we can get it on stock or cm10 since it's open source.)
We still need a working device tree or whatever for cm10.1(If we were to build the actual Paranoid Android Rom)

I think paranoid android 4.2.2 can still be built with the current device tree. But it will have the same problems with the install locations. You won't be able to install apps and your sd card mount locations will be all messed up.

Well correct me if I'm wrong. But when I skimmed through the post, it sort of made it seem like you could cook it into any ROM now? But I may be sadly, sadly mistaken...

cook?

Nonononono

You have to build.

Cook is basically adding/modifying/porting stuff into a ROM file by file.

Build is downloading a few GBs of source code and adding /device tree (and /kernel tree if bootloader were unlocked).

This is definitely source code they released. So you will have to build.
