Can someone open up the default messaging app, go to settings, Text messages, input mode and tell me what is selected by default. I have AT&T. Thanks

Is the option to restore to Default available?

The default input is actually selected under

    Settings/Language and Input

Whatever you select there will be what the messaging app uses for a keyboard.
