This is my first post to the forums so please bear with me.
I found a repeatable bug in the messaging application shipped with the droid and was curious if anyone else has seen it?
Here is how to recreate the problem:
- open messaging app
- choose a friend to send a message to
- click the text box to bring up the on-screen keyboard
- lock the phone
When I unlock the phone again somewhere between 25-50% of the time the messaging app is locked up. It won't accept key presses. I get Haptic feedback when I touch any of the bottom row buttons, but nothing else. If I furiously press the home or back button it eventually brings up the dialogue box asking if I want to wait or force close... both options bring the phone back to a useable state.
Any thoughts or suggestions? This seems to happen to me a lot, I guess I think too much before I finish my texts and the screen usually shuts off on me. It can be very frustrating!
