Can anyone explain why my daughters sms messages show her phone's email address when I receive them? Others show just their phone # but hers shows #@virginmobile.ca. This means I cannot just reply to her messages. Is this something her phone is sending out?

is your daughter's phone an android device? depending on how it's set up, that might be how it is sending them out.

Yes. It's Android. The only change I made recently is I turned on data. I wonder if when my data was turned off it would just give me her # but now it shows her email. I am not sure where to look on her LG phone to change this.

I think your daughter is sending you text messages through data. You can do that using your carrier account so that you don't use up credits.

Hmmm. Data is suppose to be turned off on her line. Saving credits would be pointless since we all have unlimited txting. You may be right though. If I can pry her phone from her hands I will look into it.
