Metro PCS - Major Changes

I may be missing something but you keep mentioning the physical size of the phone in relation to reading documents. Are you referencing how legible the document is from a difference? Should you not be looking for a better resolution and better ppi/density? What type of business documents are you looking at? Do you have an example you could share? I have a 1+1 and I changed the lcd density. My wife has a stock 1+1 and I can't stand how much space is wasted due to huge icons, text, etc...

edit: I blame the multiple posters in here for talking about the comments sections on those 2 links. You intrigued me enough to read them and now I regret it. Wow, that's all I can really say about it. Just wow.
Thanks for your reply!
And,,,,,nice phones!!
Yes, I also do what your wife does.
Here's a non-work pdf example(it's safe):
http://www.brisnet.com/promo/dby0506y.pdf
Can you view everything quickly n clearly at a glance w/o scrolling sideways or zooming constantly in/out(analyze lots of these without getting bogged down and without missing things)?
It's tough enough on a small laptop or tablet...
Sorry re TmoNews hooligans rotmfflmmfao

I shut mine off through the my metro app. since I did it steaming videos is much faster and they won't stop and load. also I have noticed that internet pages load much quicker! I think like someone was saying. it's an effective way to keep data traffic down. but also like someone else said.. why should unlimited data users even have the option? I'm sure there is a method to this madness

I think we already knew this but here we go:
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones/SM-G930TZKATMK

I'm getting the edge.

I don't know... I don't want to get a smaller phone AND missing or disabled features PLUS pay a premium to boot.

In that sense Android Now & Wintel of Old have actually flip-flopped positions!
I'm fed up of foraging beaucoup Android sites just to see which new hardware and / or dessert has the least number of missing specs.

I'll be getting this:
http://www.phonedog.com/2016/02/21/...-phone-596-inch-quad-hd-screen-snapdragon-820

Full Specs: http://www.phonearena.com/phones/HP-Elite-x3_id9967

Impressive...this could supplant Android totally...at least for some folks who often also lug around a Win tablet and / or laptop anyhow.
Some software does not work as well on Android(Roboform, etc.), no multi-users or full SD use w/o root or wait until next OS release...

Assuming all the bands are included, the only missing stuff is only quibbles:
battery not removable, no IR or radio... a smidgen more size perhaps...

Don't totally trust HP competitive pricing...

Ahh...feels good to troll...

Excellent point... I may be back here making cuss words out of MSFT initials.
But this goes to show you how MS still has a chance to take over / rule... in spite of all past missteps.
I schlep around a Windows portable aside an Android phone... but if the phone became full Windows, and contain all the computer programs, and came with portable docking station... the only thing I'd see android being better at is paying with phone & shopping / banking apps...
maybe there's something I'm forgetting...

Some good news guys and gals! A leaked Metro PCS memo confirms we'll be getting three more new phones(in addition to the K10 and J7) over the next month and a half. Here's the article on GSMarena: http://www.gsmarena.com/recently_la...y_on5_landing_in_us_this_month-news-18626.php

Here are the specs for the new phones:

Samsung Galaxy On5 http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_on5-7648.php

Coolpad Catalyst http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=5193

LG Stylo 2 Plus http://www.gsmarena.com/lg_stylus_2_plus-8079.php

The interesting thing about this is the LG Stylo 2 Plus. It looks like a true upgrade over the last year's G Stylo with its 1080p screen and the newest Snapdragon 430 processor. If the specs hold true, then at the rebate price of 150, it could be an excellent buy.

Add the $50 mail in rebate, the overall price of $99 is a heck of a deal......one of the best at Metro in a long time! I may have to check it out if it has the $70 instant and $50 mail in rebate :)

Great scoop.
And more than an excellent buy, initial Stylo didn't come down from original $249 until later on.
Hopefully we get the 32gb version...even that size is not a true, true update; but the price makes it a great backup or "holdover until the next great upgrade". Hopefully we get the expected beasts due out from Asus, Moto, Note.
Adds FM radio.
Marshmallow another plus.
However, still no IR or USB Host.
Very nice news.

I'm confused...

Everyone keeps linking the LG Stylus 2 previously in this thread, but keep saying MetroPCS is getting the LG Stylo 2 (comparison). Even the GSMArena leak has the MetroPCS phone release schedule graphic which clearly says Stylo 2, yet the article drones on about the Stylus in the first paragraph. Seems to me that folks are thinking it's the Stylus when it's not (if the MetroPCS graphic is to be believed).

Anyone have the real dope? The Stylus or Stylo?

The LG Stylus is the same phone as the Stylo, it called the Stylus outside of the U.S and Korea. http://www.cnet.com/products/lg-stylus-2/

The name is confusing and so are the specs.

Here is what I think:

The Stylus 2/Stylus 2 Plus are what they are called internationally.

Boost got the Stylo 2. MetroPCS seems to be getting the Stylo 2 Plus.

Now, the Stylo 2 that Boost got has inferior specs and is very similar to the LG G Stylo that came out for T-Mobile and MetroPCS last year.

The specs for the LG Stylo 2 plus for MetroPCS appears to be the lower specs (13 MP camera) listed in the GSM Arena post above.

https://www.metropcs.com/lg-stylo-2-plus.html

Confused yet? I know. Now, we have to wait and see what/if T-Mobile gets....
