l i love love my phone but waiting more as far as speed and 4 g internet i use phone as house internet no cable here only dish . So keep that Mind now my question is what phones can be rooted with 4 g on any sevice so i can do wifi telthering i was hoping for this on but the ascend was great but metro let me down big time

Well i think the HTC evo will work for you. It is 4g and can be rooted. I'm planning on getting this phone too by the end of the month but i need to research it first

i hear ya craven, metro says oh yeah this new ascend is 3g blah blah. i've yet to recieve 3g service yet, i guess there working on it. i got the tethering down and did a speed test. .04 download and .03 upload :/ so shitty. but i guess in emergencies if i needed the internet i can pretend its 10 years earlier where 56k was the fastest speed.

Metro working on 3g haha i thinl not from what i seen they skipped over it and moving to 4g and there wont be a 3g sorry for our luck but cant get made metro wont fix it or make it right or give money back just have to move on
