This is a temporary post, just to give you guys some fun stuff to play with.
I expect to have it deleted within a month as I progress in usefull info.

I'm not including instructions, as I'm at work still and don't have time.

Root.

Please note, you must install superuser from market.
Also get es file explorer.

Open es and press menu
Scroll down the bar that pops out the left side and select root explorer.
Allow superuser access
Tap the words "root explorer" and set everything to r/w

Navigate to data/app
Long press superuser
Press the "more" button and select "move to"
In the popup Navigate to system/app and press ok.
Reboot.

Handy tip found by @dozyaustin... when powering on the soft buttons will flash right after the home button lights up. If you hit the home button you will boot into recovery. Handy for restoring backups if you hit a soft bootloop.

Trusted font app I've used on all my phones for years...

To make it work right go to preferences and select "select fonts" check "clockopia" and all "Lgsmartgothic" boxes.

Please be aware that you will loose that font when you install a new one.

If you're using one of the other fonts in the phones stock font chooser switch to smart gothic in settings/display/fonts.

Change boot animation:
Download or make a bootanimation.zip
Using a root browser (I use es file explorer) navigate to system/media. Rename your stock animation to contamination.zip.bak (or whatever you want instead of bak, I use bak to tell me it's a backup.)
Navigate back to your downloads and move your new bootanimation to the sysyem/media folder. Be sure it's named bootanimation.zip reboot and enjoy. Here's the one I use. Thanks goes to LoneStar for making this, I won't mirror without permission so here's the original post.

Yay finally found how to reply ok so I have a question how does the sd fuse work and can it help me play modern combat 4? Or heavy games of that nature? I'm a gamer so its important. I didn't make any of this.

Fusing the sd works by tricking your phone into thinking the external sd is the internal. So you can install more data intensive games and more apps in general.

Everything works with a locked bootloader. I haven't found any way to unlock it yet

You can look through it. I believe I have everything in the folders I found them in. Its all from system/* so you could match up all the apps and files easily.

Keep the backup on pc or extsd in case you want to restore any or anything.

You can also add stuff you delete yourself (don't touch lg or Google apps. I haven't tried any yet) for safe storage.

Don't forget to take odex files out too and in some cases the apps folder in /data

Here's proof fellas all u need to do is follow the instructions to the very least and don't forget to rename the 882k file to 11extsd2internalsd ^_^ that's how i made it work

Also I wanna add the cydia impactor method was extremely. Easy *-* i couldn't believe how easy it was not even a reboot to obtain root and as far as i can tell. Its pretty damn stable i deleted all my bloatware and and Google apps like news stand and Google music i used clean master for bloat removal easy and it even warns u if ur about to delete a system. App that might mess with the components of your device which i find very helpful if u don't wanna obtain root thru vroot or kingo (shady companies ) i totally suggest. To use (impactor) and i did it from an offline computer with no internet i just downloaded the zip to my phone. Then installed it to. The PC. For no surprises or unk

Thanks for backing the confirmation of impactor. So far it's 3for3 so I'll be removing vroot as a suggestion.

Did you make sure you moved your superuser app to system/app? If not a factory reset will force you to reinstall and that's gonna be a pain with script manager not being able to run on boot.
