Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] been trying to get into recovery!

YI been trying to get into recovery and i cant remember how to do it since its been so long! Can someone refresh my memory and let me know again!

Install quickboot from playstore or power phone off, hold home + volume up + power button. Let go after galaxy logo, and press them again. It may take a few tries.

yeah you can do it any of those ways.. I just reboot the phone, once screen turns off wait for it to vibrate for the reboot then immediately press volume up and home until you see blue letters, then release and wait for recovery to pop up
