I just wanted to add my quick two cents and say that I flashed this and then flashed a 4.4.2 ROM without any problems. Thanks go out to the good folks over at TWRP for releasing an update that works with 4.4.x ROM's. I have nothing against CWM Touch but TWRP is a more feature rich recovery and as such is my recovery of choice. Thank you also goes out to Get@Me for creating this thread and letting us know of its existence. I am once again a happy flasher (YES...I do realize what that sounds like).

This is actually an updated recovery for the Verizon s3. They haven't update our recovery yet. I just unpack the recovery img and edit the ram disk so there wouldn't be any problem with the updater script when flashing d2mtr roms. And i agree with you cwm touch is a good recovery but for me twrp is just better.

I didn't realize you had gone to those lengths to get us a working version of this recovery so a very BIG thank you from me. The ability to give the backups I make with this recovery a name that makes sense to me makes all the difference in the world.

twrp 2.6.3.1 official is now up for us, get it through goo, seems they forgot d2usc, d2mtr, d2cri for all their updates.

I've tried it thru goo many times and it won't work. What am I doing wrong? Usb debugging is checked anything else? Thanks for the help....

I use goo mgr it downloads new twrp says installed when I boot into it it shows 2.4 version in right side top....
