i rooted my metro gs3 and after i flashed a recover i tried to reboot to recovery, it wouldn't turn on at all and i fear i bricked it.

I flashed it and when I rebooted my phone it wouldn't turn back on won't go into download it only if I take the battery out and plug it in it shows a red light that's it.

If you connect to your PC, does your PC recognize it? You might be able to reflash TWRP through ADB. But thats only if you can get your device showing using ADB devices. Im not a pro with this, but I bet someone here is that can chime it and work on getting you fixed.

I have a Mac....it doesn't recognize it. Stupid apple.

Yeah I don't get it. It should have went fine. Other than rooting, all I did was flash recovery. Boom. Black screen of death.

oh wow on mac i wouldn't know how to help you on that. seems every one here uses either windows or linux. but im not so sure you bricked your phone. last case scenario taking it back to a corp office they should just give you a new one.

got my hands on a pc but i cant seem to be able to get adb to recognize the device even though the device is recognized when it's plugged in.

Hmm this weird ... so you can't access the recovery just by pressing and holding, home +volume up+power? After pulling out battety?

Can't access recovery at all. I called metro and played dumb they're sending me a new phone. I'd still like to get this one booted though I'd rather not lose all my pictures.

When you get the new one sign up for dropbox, free with your phone, and it will back all of your pics up for you. Same with G+ I use both so I don't lose them.

Glad you at least got a replacement phone on the way.. Did you ever contact the devs of goomanager and tell them? They probably would want to know, and would help.
