Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Metro PCS to Boost Mobile

Hi I was wondering of there is a way to flash the metro PCs S3 to accommodate boost mobile services seeing as how boost mobile provides an option to dwindle your monthly payments to $40 while retaining the goodies in the initial plan. Is this possible?

I don't believe so because Metro Pcs is GSM and Boost/Sprint is CDMA. In other words one uses a SIM card and the other don't. AT&T, T-Mobile, Simple Mobile, or Smart Talk are options you should check out.

regardless, it isnt possible. no one knows the 16 digit samsung password. without that you cant flash it, and even then you are willing to use a sgs3 with just 3g so you can save 10ish bucks a month?

i thought so myself but some users from howard have contacted samsung and they all say qualcomm has it. even logical evil the mod on the metro subforum have confirmed that for me lol

the code you were looking for is different, samsung has a 16 digit code that is used to interface with their devices. its what allows esn modding.

No I was looking for an unlock code from the menu I posted here to unlock the carrier lock it was a experiment we were trying before I even posted it there to share with them but regardless I gave up on it. It's a lost hope.
