Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] switched radios now no 4g

Can sombody help I ran out of data and switched evdo only now I can, t get back to 4g can sombody tell me why it wont stick when I put it back o lte/cdma/evdo or do I have to flash a modom and what modem do I flash
