Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Themes question

Okay i didn't know where to ask this but ive been using a theme from market that makes some apps more dark and i like it but theres some things i rather keep normal is there any way of choosing specifically what to change and what not to change? Im running illusion but been using theme with carbon and pacman. Or if theres a way on how to make an apk inverted i would love to learn. Any help, advice, and comments will be appreciated.
