Anyone having this issue? It seems that when I record a video, the sound tends to be distorted or excessively too loud.
Is there a way to fix this? Perhaps an app or some sort?

Hmmm. I wish there was some sort of mic gain control on these devices

Just noticed this same problem on my phone.

When recording a video the audio (while recording music/concert, etc.) is very distorted at times. Mostly during loud parts. Seems ok when recording soft parts of a song.

Sounds like the mic gain is turned up too high by default?

I never had this problem on my original Epic 4G.

Listen to how distorted it sounds on this youtube video I found. My phone is doing the exact same thing.

    Any ideas???

I was so excited to record a video when I first got the phone, I took it for a ride in a race prepped car. The video quality is awesome however the audio quality is horrible and spiking all over and kind of made me want to return the phone.

How could so many people have missed this as a major negative for this phone(GS2) as part of the many reviews I read.

I don't even think the audio quality is 96k...very disappointing.

If someone has a workaround please share.
