micro sd change for 2.0/2.1

if and when eris gets the update for the 2.0 or 2.1 or what ever we get,would upgrading to a 16gig micro sd be a good idea or wont it mater?if so would all we have to do is swap everything from the 8 gig to the 16 gig on the computer then put the 16 gig in the phone and be good to go ???

stopped and talked to the verizon people to day about another issue because my 30 days is up tomorrow. and they said the updates are coming. it sure seems like they keep there people in the dark about everything,dont know why they would because of any rumors that start could be stopped. thanks for the info
