Walmart, Radio Shack, any department store or cell phone store. Amazon, ebay, etc.

Why by an adapter when a 6ft micro usb cable from monoprice is $1.28?

I routinely charge both mini and micro devices. In most situations I would get the cable (and I do have a few). But, In particular with my car, it is a plus not having to re-route the full cable length through my center console when I can leave a cable setup and just pull adapter when needed.

    +1 for Monoprice.
it's the only place I get cables from these days; hdmi, cat5, usb, they have it all for dirt cheap and their products are excellent.

I ordered 6 micro USB cords and it was under $10. (different lengths depending on where I'm using them)
