Support MicroSD Card encryption. Is it possible? How? Discuss options.

    Is there way to encrypt you sd card so if it is taken out of your phone the card could not be read. Blackberry has this feature in the native os. You can choose to have the card encrytped so it can only be read when in your phone. Come on, if Blackberry can do this with out an app., I'm sure an android dev. can make an app . like that.

    I don't see how it is not included in the native security settings.

    Honeycomb has this capability. My tablet can encrypt itself. I don't think Gingerbread will ever see it, though. So you have to find a third party app that will do it or wait for Ice Cream Sandwich, whenever we get that (probably not until 2012).
