Have Droid 2
System version: 4.5.621.A955.Verizon.en.US
Android version: 2.3.4
never rooted. Use My Backup Pro (unrooted) to backup apps & data and backup data (select all for both). I think all my apps have been from the Market (Google Play?). Might have one that came from outside.
Next week I plan to get a Droid 4. I understand some of the included apps are different but it is running the same Android version?
Naturally I would like to avoid the hours of detailed settings and preferences and configuration I've done on a boatload of apps over the last couple of years. Any chance of avoiding this? I was hoping for something like:
root Droid 2
use Titanium backup (or My Backup Pro?) to do some sort of full backup
root Droid 4
use Titanium backup (or My Backup Pro?) to restore on Droid 4
any hope?
