When I first flashed the two Roms mentioned above they had this cool circular battery icon that had the percentage in the middle. When I woke up this morning that battery symbol had changed back to the stock battery that is green. Does anyone know how to change that?????

Which ROM are you using currently?

Either ExtremeDays or myself have a few battery mods we can incorporate that battery version into.
Post back which ROM you are using and we'll get you fixed up! :D

Granite1, i meant to tell you that i tried your speedo battery mod with Mik3d B1 yesterday, and it was stuck at 80%...i thought sweet its working, but when i looked at it like an hour later, it was still at 80%....i rebooted and it came up 80% ....so i dunno...i wiped cache and dalvik cache before flashing it....just thought id let you know...maybe its just my piece of a phone lol...

Yeah it was flawed. The xml for that rom was different than what I had set up for my mod so it didn't work so well. I'm still getting everything sorted out, been working crazy hours often 6 days a week. Construction season ends soon, it's the great final push!
Once I get it fixed I'll post it up.

Thanks for the input. I am running mik3d B1. So from what I can tell there are no battery mods quite yet????

Look at the third post in this thread. Click on the links to download the mods I have set up so far for 3D. One is a speedo mod and the other is a honeycomb mod. These are both 1% increment battery mods. If there are other styles you want, let me know and I can get them set up.

Thank you. Is the speedo mod still stuck on 80% or is that fixed? Also I am very new to rooting what is a 1% increment mod? Will I flash the mod? DO I need to reflash the ROM or do anything else besides the wipe? Sorry again just very new to root????

The links in the post are flashed in recovery. Make a nandroid backup first, wipe dalvik-cache and cache then flash. 1% increments means that the battery percentage shown changes as the battery changes......if you have 56% battery remaining, the icon will show 56%. Instead of changing at 20% increments the way the stock battery does, it changes at 1%. You do not need to flash the rom again. The 2 mods work on MikG3D. I haven't made any for MikG2.5 yet but I can if you need one for that rom instead of the 3D rom.

Thank you. Once I flash will it automatically change the battery or will I need to run something?

Flash the zip file then reboot. You should have the battery icon with % displayed after that.

Thanks for the speedo mod. Works beautifully. Like I said im very new to root. What other types of mods are out there that can change some things up?

Depending on the rom there are usually themes that change alot of aspects of the rom. MikG3D is a beta release still so there are no themes as yet for it. MikG 2.5 has a couple of themes available for it and I know that nick1313 is working to get his theme changed for the 2.5 release. There are also things in the market that you can download to alter the appearance of the roms. Different launchers, widget locker, and different clocks are among some of them.

Thank you for the help. I currently run launcher pro just because I have grown so accustomed to the layout. Do you suggest any specific things from the market. Also is there a sticky with all the mods or is it a search and find type thing. In mik3d B1 is there a way to change how many home screens there are. When I run launcher pro I can pick but then the lock screen icons do not work because Im running launcher pro instead of the HTC sense. Also is there a way to change the way you answer the phone, instead of moving the circle over the answer or decline? Thank you again for the help.

I don't think you can pick the number of home screens. As far as the phone, if you swipe up it will answer the phone. You just have to drag the decline to the circle to decline the call. I don't use anything specific from the market, I like the way this is set up as is. I would like to have them remap the right button in the stock Sense launcher though(someone will do it once this is a final release). In the forum at themikmik.com there is a thread for themes and one for mods/tweaks. Check there for the latest on this rom.
