Milestone in the Uk but with T-Mobile!

I'm a bit disappointed. I'm desperate for this phone but I cant justify the cost without contract as I need free minutes and data. Ive heard so many bad things about T-Mobile, I travel around with work and although I'm based in London I need good access in Telford and in Scotland, T-Mobile looks really poor in Scotland.

I have been on T-Mobile since 2004 and I've been travelling quite a lot in UK and abroad and I have never experienced any problem with data coverage.
I have recently moved from Nokia to Motorola Milestone and it works everywhere I've been so far - countryside and major cities - Edinburgh included.
