Support Milestone Orientation

    Hi all

    I have a milestone with android 2.1 everything work okay, but the browser just work horizontal and never get vertical, all other app and stuff work just fine, if any of you can help me thanx a lot

    Does only the browser do it? When you are on the home screen does it switch for you? There is a option in sound and display settings you need to check the box by Orientation in order for it to switch for you when you rotate the phone.

    Yes, only the browser, and yes my home screen does switch for me and yes in sound and display option i have ORIENTATACION CHECKED. Everythig switch for me, but no so the browser.

    You are using that browser that came pre-installed correct? Perhaps there is an option to disable auto rotation that has been checked or vice versa in the browser it's self. Same may be true of a third party browser or it may require to be manually set one way or the other, if such an option even exists.

    In any case I would suggest looking through the browser options to see if any of the above are true.

    Open the Browser, push the menu button, push More, and go to Settings.
    Ensure that "Landscape-onlu display" is not checked.

    Yes, it was the landscape in the browser, thanx a lot
