so i recently just got the milestone and it connects to wifi fine and all.. the connection is okay, but when i try to disconnect from what im connected to, the wifi freezes and it stays on "turning off"
it doesnt go away until i restart the phone.

anyone know what i should do about it? ):

I am having this same exact issue. could it possibly be my router settings or something in my house interfering with my milestone? most times it doesnt even find my network, even if i lay it on top of the darn router. then when i turn off wifi to preserve battery, it just goes grey and turning off...

or maybe my linksys wrt160n is a dud

Just so people know, what version of Android are you both running? 2.1 or 2.0.1? Could help some decide if they wish to update if they have the option or find a fix.

I'm on 2.01 and I don't seem to have a problem disconnecting from my linksys.

Yeah, I JUST testing it and it works fine.

I'm with the same problem! When this happens, I have to restart the OS.

Android version: 2.1 update-1, with linksys routers

I had noticed it does take a bit to switch, but if you keep pressing it that tends to lock it up. Press it once and leave it. Patience is a virtue!
