I was curious if there might be a creative way to make this happen. I just got a new AVR to which I have plugged my HDMI dock into. I have this laptop and would like to play things on my new projector from my laptop but the problem is that I don't have a hi-def out from my laptop. So I would like to be able to mirror or preferably extend my desktop to my droid x over wifi and have it show that on the projector.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

you basically want whats on your desktop to show on your X?

DLNA can be used for that i do believe

    edit:

you do have to set it up someway, and im not 100% positive on how so you need to research setting up DLNA more :)

Thanks I'll look into that. Gives me a bit of a different direction to look.

So, DLNA works for media but nothing else. This would work if I could share my desktop as media but I'm not sure that I can do that.
