    Hey guys,

What's best way to mirror the S7E to a TV with a HDMI port, WITHOUT having to connect to a local wifi network?

As there is no MHL support so can not use wired MHL adapter...

I have had a look at chromecast, miracast, roku, fire stick some other cast sticks, but they are all very confusing whether to you need a local wifi network or you can just connect from phone straight to dongle via direct wifi, not needing a local network.

    Thanks

It can depend on the TV. I am able to mirror to my Samsung SmartTV just by selecting "mirror" on the TV and on my phone. It's automatic.

I wish they would update the firmware on my samsung smart tv so it could do that. Mine is a year before that feature.
