I have a Note 4 and am having a problem with data supposedly contained in Miscellaneous files. When I look at the listing for what's in there I don't see any file over 10 mg...yet I'm receiving notices of not enough storage in the phone to install an app...AND on the main page of My Files I see 17 GB as what the devices says is in there! I've transferred virtually all of my space-hog files to my mini-sd (vids and pictures mostly) but *still* there's something in that folder I can't see. Any help?

    Hi Charlie,

Install the DiskUsage app. If there are files on your device that app will find them.

    Good luck hunting!

...great! This app led me to be able to delete data that was totally redundant and already on my ext card. Thanks for the tip, Eric!
