Missing Memory for Apps on HTC Desire

Hi All

Something strange here.

I had 18mb internal memory free for apps and after installing an epub reader i kept getting the message running low on memory.
I uninstalled it and did a reboot and now i have 70mb free and all the existing apps are running fine.
Somehow i have managed to free up a huge amount of lost space which I assume was being taken up by apps not uninstalling correctly.

Either way i'm happy until froyo comes out.

Just wish I knew where the memory keeps disappearing to over time.

I would imagine it's the cache for the various apps you've had running. I hear that the internet browser can eat up a lot of memory.

50mb seems an awful lot for browser cache.

Think I best keep an eye on the cache and clear regualar to see how we go.
