I'm trying to install an update for an app not on the market. but I went into my Settings folder, went under Apps, and there is no setting in there that allows me the option in installing apps not on the market. What do I do?

So for this app that needs the update did you sideload it using the SWM before? You can call att speak with tech support to have them push to update to your phone (atleast this is what I had read)

forgive me, but im not sure what you mean by "sideload". I downloaded it from the market originally and have even updated it a few times. the problem is it was taken off the market since then.

Oh ok. Sideload is pushing a non market app to your phone. If the app you have was taken off the market then to update you would need to get the new update from att that allows non market apps then you would be allowed to update. This is probably your easiest option
