So I rooted my Indulge a couple months ago via the one click method offered up here. I have been quite happy with the results, however; one thing that I noticed is that the "phone" icon that brings up the dialer is missing from the home screen and can not be accessed easily. Is there some way I can get it back?

I have tried a few different dialer widgets and they have "worked" but they have had a tendency to force close.

    Ideas? solutions?

    Thanx

that problem has never happened to me. usually, you can edit your home screen (which i think you are referring to the dock) to have whatever you want show up there. if you are rooted, check out the Basix ROM. a hell of a lot better and includes that dialer shortcut in it.

Hold the dialer icon in the apps drawer, when it vibrates, drag it down towards the dock and drop it on the desktop.
For the dock shortcut, from memory, if I remember, open the drawer, hit the menu button and select edit. From there, you can swap or add/replace whatever you want to the dock.
