Help Missing Picture Files on Galaxy S4

I will save pictures from my gmail (app) and they will appear in my downloads folder (internal memory) for a couple of days. Then out of nowhere they disappear and are nowhere to be found. Has anyone else had this happen? Ne1 know the problem/solution?

Sorry to hear about your troubles, have you used a file manager to see if its actually physically still there?

Perhaps use the web version to see if it makes any difference?

I've moved this into the s4 forums as well.

Thank you for the welcome I have checked the file manager and they are not there. I will attempt using the web version and see if it happens again.

I've never really downloaded from the app itself, but if you download from the Web it shouldn't disappear

I'm a new android user and I am flabbergasted at the bugs in the gmail app. You'd figure something used by so many would be high on the list for Google to look after...in the mean time a quick search reveals tons of issues people have with this app...ridiculous
