Help Missing symbols

I use secure passwords using a multitude of characters, numbers and symbols but the desire does not seem to have the symbols on my keyboard on my laptop.

Does anyone know if its possible to get more symbols or if there is a vertical line ( | ) available? Can;t download apps or log into anything and don't fancy changing all my passwords They're not all the same, just use similar symbols...

Yeah its missing the | pipe symbol. I posted a thread here when I first got my desire, and ended up changing my passwords and not being able to use the :| smiley .

I believe swype which is an alternative to the normal keyboard has the pipe symbol.
