Cheers tef89. I got it back again yesterday with the same problem. Looks as though Vodafone haven't even returned it to HTC this time and just re-installed the software
I've got an Orange San Fran as a backup so not missing it too much. Determined to get the problem sorted though.
So far so good, although it looks as though the replacement is SLCD. I'd rather have that than a broken vibrate mind.
Not sure if it's of help for others but it may have been caused by swype. At the time I was typing something and it seemed to 'freak out' half way through. The vibrate appeared to go crazy for a second then died. May not be the cause but a thought anyway.
does this solution work for htc desire c because i have got the same problem.
the vibration was working fine and then quickly disappeared.
thanks try and get back to me
my hotmail is hammadwaheed@hotmail.co.uk
Which of the different solutions in this thread do you mean? Tapping the phone, playing with audiomanager settings or sending it for repair?
Tthe etiquette of a discussion forum is that solutions are posted publically to the forum, so that others can benefit, rather than communicated by private mail.
In any case, your best bet is to ask in the Desire C forum.
