Hi, I have a question which has got me scratching my head! I have someone who wants to use a Broadband dongle on an Android tablet. Unfortunately the tablet does not have 3G capabilities and the user does not want to connect using WiFi.:(

Does anyone know if this is possible? None of the main manufacturers (Huawei) seem to offer the dongles in an Android version.

    Grateful for any help...

I think it depends on the tablet an or software version. There are certain models of tabs which allow you to connect a dongle to them (the Asus TF101G I believe), but by and large, it's not a very common feature.

What network/Country are you in? I know 3 in the UK offer a sort of portable WiFi hotspot, is that an option?
