Just got this phone on O2 - everything seems great so far. I've read that the phone is very data hungry though - something about downloading every message in your email inbox everytime you check for a new email.

Are there any settings I need to turn on/off to reduce this sort of thing? I have 500mb mobile web each month and don't want to be going over.

    Thanks.

I have the US version of the phone however you should be able to set whether you want the default email client to synch every time you open the client, or to "not". You should also be able to set a given number of messages which are downloaded to the phone, or a given number of days. In either case, it does not have to "always synch everything".

You should also be able to set a timeout for when mobile data shuts off after a predetermined time period.
