Here are some small mods I have put together for the Samsung Avant. The Knox & CarrierIQ Remover is something I made from scratch Just for the Samsung Avant. The AOSP apps I just made into flashable zips for easy installation.

[1] Knox & CarrierIQ Remover
This zip will completely remove all Knox and CarrierIQ apps from Avant stock roms.
it doesnt matter whether you have the T-Mobile or MetroPCS version or which firmware you are using. Just Flash the zip in recovery.

[2] AOSP Browser
This zip will install the AOSP Browser with Google bookmarks Sync.
Download:http://www.mediafire.com/download/s2iap1m1jkxravf/Avant_AOSP-Browser.zip
***Side note about AOSP Browser***
If you just did a factory reset and are going to install the AOSP Browser you need to let the phone boot normally at least once then go back into recovery and flash the zip to install. If you have already installed the AOSP Browser and later need to do a factory reset for whatever reason, you will need to uninstall the AOSP Browser before you do the reset. Here is a small zip that does it for you.

If the automatic Google sign in fails and then the app force closes see post #13 for fix.

[3] CM11 DSP Manager & Apollo Music Player
This zip installs Apollo and DSP Manager along with the lib file needed for DSP Manager to work properly.
Download:http://www.mediafire.com/download/wlxqem7ppaengaf/Apollo-&-DSP-Manager.zip

[4] CM11 AOSP Keyboard
This zip installs the keyboard from CM11. The only issue is that swipe doesn't work.
Download:http://www.mediafire.com/download/8f88056e84aq6qz/CM11_AOSP_Keyboard.zip

[5] CarbonROM AOSP Keyboard
This zip installs the AOSP keyboard from CarbonROM. It is identical to the CM11 AOSP keyboard except it has a darker, almost black, color scheme. The only issue is that swipe doesn't work.
Download:http://www.mediafire.com/download/kiv299kbwg03uiu/CarbonRom_AOSP_Keyboard.zip

[6] Modified TouchWiz Launcher
This mod was made by XDA Senior Member tp2215 and I'm just posting a link to make it easier to find.
Link to XDA Thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=55549617
***Side note about Modified Touchwiz Launcher***
If you haven't already deodexed your ROM you need to get rid /system/priv-app/TouchWizHome.odex or else the new launcher will just crash. You can rename it to TouchwizHome.odex.bak, delete it, or move it to your SD card.

[7] Flashable Bloatware Remover
See POST #33 for info, screenshots, and download link.

(1)LG G3 Keyboard
If anyone wants to use the LG G3 Keyboard here it is.

[Edit] After further testing I've noticed that this keyboard force closes when you use text to speech. Also the vibrate on keypress doesn't seem to work.
This mod was ported by XDA Recognized Developer Cloudyfa and the link above takes you to his thread. If you use this keyboard please make sure to thank him if you are also an XDA member.

(2)Cyanogenmod Keyboard, Appolo Music Player, Torch, and DSP Manager,

All of these work fine and can be installed with or without root access. They were all extracted from Cyanogenmod roms built for other Samsung Devices.

I assume no responsibility for anything that may go wrong with your phone. Make sure you are able to unbrick/restore your phone if needed. With that said, I don't post anything I haven't tested on my own phone first.
Please check back as I will be adding more mods/ports for this phone as I find and test them.
DSP didn't work for me at all

Works fine for me. I just had to check for myself. It works fine with the Apollo music player. Did you enable it in settings? You have to go to settings/sound/music effects

I don't know what's going on then. I just downloaded Apollo & DSP from the link I posted, installed them, enabled DSP in settings, and it worked without any problems.

It shouldn't matter but are you installing them normally or as system apps?

Yeah I download it normally and install it but it keeps force closing

Masterchief87, is the DSP-Manager you posted here for Samsung phones only?

I have an LG and I'm trying to find a working DSP Manager for it.
Thanks,
Rob

It should work for almost any device running android 4.x with root and a custom recovery but I cannot say for sure.

Wow the carrier IQ and Knox removal made my phone feel smoother. Not bad the phone just needs a stable rom and I will be set, thank you.

Sometimes the automatic Google sign in causes problems. Try this, clear cm browser's data and disable it then re enable it. Then launch the app and as soon as it starts the automatic Google sign in press the back button. This will stop the automatic sign in and you should then be able to sign in manually(optional) and use the browser without problems.

I am now working on a flashable bloatware remover which I will soon be adding. I've already made one but I think it removes a little more stuff than some people would like so I'm removing some things from the list of apps to remove.

Browser is a little laggy for me but works fine. The CM11 Keyboard, swype doesn't work. Is there a way to get it working?

Swipe is something I don't use so I didn't know there was a problem with it. I'll see if it's something I can fix
-edit- Honestly I'm stumped. I tried adding some lib files that I thought might be needed and I only succeeded causing a bootloop.
