I tried the free version of Moon+ . It was the reader that showed the best type screen on the Apollo. But the post in market said it would read local books. I couldn't get it to go to the SD card. All it wanted to do was download a list of books. I want specialized guidebooks, so this is not an option.
Does the paid version allow you to read your own stored books?

I imagine it will since the free one does, but I haven't yet purchased it. Just use the "local files" tab to navigate to the folder with your books.

Of course, they need to be in a format that Moon+ will read. I know it reads .epub, not sure about others. Guidebooks? I bet they're .pdf. If so, you need a .pdf reader.
