Help More home screens in 2.1

I was under the impression that 2.1 added more home screens (up to 5)... Is that part of a rooted update, or is it only available in other apps? Open home keeps crashing, and I'd like to go with the main home screen app.

Sorry you're having problems and I can't really answer your question, but I have the unofficial 2.1 and it was 3 screens. I downloaded Helix Launcher from the market and it has up to 7 home screens. I'm using all 7 and it's awesome.

I've installed Helix Launcher and use it with 5 home pages, I haven't tried Open Home but honestly Helix is good enough for me. The default install only gives you the 3 pages though.
