Help Most confedential regarding text msgs

Hello friends I got s2 a week back my dad was using it and everything was perfect like mesg notifocations sterday I.changed.the.sim n problem.started iam unable to.read text.msgs.iam reciving.them.but when.i try.to open itis not showing. And after sum time my message box only shows sent msgs please help.

Most pobably because your 2nd SIM that you put into the phone is from a different carrier than your fathers?

Try going to Messaging, Settings then scroll half way down and check that "Message Centre" corresponds with your carriers gateway. This number is usually stored on the SIM card but may have been wiped somehow.

You can also try calling your carrier. They are usually good at helping set up because they want you to use their service. If you tell them your model - they will 2 or 3 SMSs that contain MMS, Internet, APN set up. You open them and hit the link in the message and the right settings will be update into the phone?

i did as u said but still cant help iam not recevin text sumtimes when i they sho in notification and when i try 2 open it there is no message.what to do?
