The only downfall of Android being relatively new is that information is harder to find. On the Crackberry boards, if you go to your new BB, Storm for instance, there are threads devoted to "Do this first to your new Storm". My question is, What is/are the first thing(s) I should do to and with my new Droid to get the most out of it? I use it for Twitter and Facebook so what are the best apps? Also, what are the best apps around? Thanks for all the help.

Well for facebook users, I saw a cool feature right off the bat. first, there's a built in facebook app that comes with the phone. I don't use facebook hardly at all, but I'm here for the material, so I hooked it up to my account.

So, the first thing I did with my phone was connect to my gmail account so my contacts and calendar were sync'd.

Then I connected the facebook account. I noticed that when it started sync'ing facebook info that it somehow (presumably by contact name) linked my facebook connections with my contacts from gmail, on my phone. So, for instance, it downloaded picture thumbnails and the facebook profile page url for my facebook contacts and put them into my contacts that were already there from the gmail account.

Nothing but pure genius.

Familiarize yourself with the search feature on this forum...seriously. At this point, any questions or issues you will, or may have, have most likely been discussed at length and in multiple threads at this point.
