Moto G6 Play Continues Playing Music When Disconnected from Bluetooth Device

This is mainly an issue when I'm driving. I have a Bluetooth radio in my car. I get in and load my Radio player app and it plays fine. But when I turn my car off, usually (when I had my OnePlus X) the phone would sense the Bluetooth radio has disconnected and would stop playing the music (be it in the Radio Player app or in Amazon music). But since getting my Moto G6 Play, I turn my car off, and the audio continues to play through the external phone speaker (really annoying when getting out the car and it just continues to play once the phone is in my pocket).

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is really bothering me (1st world problems, you know ) Many Thanks.
