Support Moto X: how to re-start phone

    I am new using my new Moto X.
    With all my old phones, at a problem with them, I just removed the battery and I was set. But now with these new Moto X I can

    Hold down the power button. It's built into the hardware to cut power when you hold down the button.

    Why can't they do this on all phones. Removing the battery is so annoying.

    They currently do that on all phones. Even those with removable batteries

    Maybe not ALL, but certainly most phones have this feature.

    I remember I didn't realize this when I first needed to restart my GNex. The phone was in a case and I was too lazy to take it off to remove the battery. I was holding on to that power button for a minute or two with a clueless face... :D

    I had to remove mine from the lightning rod and crack it open with my stone chisel, fending off pterodactyls the whole time.
