Alright, here's an update. I decided to call customer support to inquire why my order was canceled and why the answer given of "unavailability" was used when I can still clearly add the items to my cart and checkout. After looking into the issue, the CSR told me they had plenty of stock. She said she would help me purchase the items again, she actually offered to expedite my new order for free.
She than realized halfway through that I used a Employee discount. I made something up about how I received the code from a family member who works for Motorola, and she said that was perfectly fine and manually applied it to my account. She however could only use one promo, so I shelled out the $4 for standard shipping. She gave me a confirmation number and that is that.
So this could technically still work, it might just take a bit more effort.
Honestly, this was one of my better experiences with CS by far, and I would definitely give more of my business to Motorola.
