    Hey guys,

Just got myself an atrix. Soon to get the asus transformer. Can someone help me out on the tethering aspect for both? Do I need pdanet or any other program from the market. Can some please explain in detail how to setup a handshake or connection on these two platforms? JFYI: My atrix is not rooted. Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, pdanet only works between an android phone and a windows PC or mac, not android to android. However there are ways to tether and use the phone as a WiFi hot spot, some require root, but not all. As for how, check out this thread for more info: http://androidforums.com/motorola-atrix-4g/341557-tethering.html

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask or PM, we are here to help.

You can simply use the built in tethering on Atrix and connect Asus to that.

just use the Atrix as a mobile hot spot for the asus. If you want to use a usb to tether you are going to need an app. I use easy tether lite. Its free and lets me tether via usb
