Well I already have a t-mobile G1 and I am thinking of buying a Motorola CLIQ.
I found it pretty cheap ($100) and I wondering if it would be a steep up from my G1?
I just want a new phone because my G1 is super slow and always freezes.
Also my G1 is not rooted or anything like that, nor is the motorola CLIQ.
    Thanks alot for the help!

Cliq. It's less bulky, and can be easily updated to 2.1

I believe the G1 and CLIQ have the same internal specs. The main difference is the CLIQ has a higher quality physical form

T-Mobile has a deal coming this Friday. All phones are free with a 2 year contract extension. I would check that out first. The CLIQ 2 is nice, but is only 3G. The G2 has the same specs but is G4, but its form factor isn't as nice IMHO.

If I was to have chosen another phone with a keyboard instead of the mt slide it woulda been a G2
