I am ina similar situation. I am looking for headphones that are capable of controlling the music. I had a set for my iPod touch that had four contact pads instead of three. It could control the volume. THe traditional thee conductor headphones have a positive for each side and a common negative. I tried them in my Droid but when I pressed volume up or down it would pause the music or make it skip to the next or replay the current. Wish I knew hoe the droid's headphones were wired or if someone sold headphones that did something besides play music.
