Help Motorola Milestone XT720 CM7 stuck on boot

Hello androiders, i have a problem with my motorola milestone xt720. I got this phone 2 weeks ago and flashed dexter's froyo 2.2.1 on it which was pretty stable, over time, i got bored of it and decided to install Cyanogenmod 7 for milestone xt720 using reverendkjr's instructions for installing CM 6.3. I installed it using open recovery, after installing, it said "well done" and "install success". When i rebooted the phone, it was stuck on the M logo. I left it like that for about 20 min and i got really worried. I wiped everything before and after installing it, including the dalvic cache and cache partition. Please help! I dont want my parents to get mad at me.
